- TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT - 1st Choice Employment, Inc.
is a temp-to-permanent hire
company. We provide the best service in the manufacturing
industry.
Our temp-to-permanent hire positions are based on a 300 hour period. At
the end of your temporary period the company may extend a full time
position to you. This is based on your overall attendance
and competency during the temporary period.
Temporary assignments may also be available. If you are
offered a temporary assignment the length of the assignment will
be stated at the time of placement.
- PAID
TIME OFF - As an employee of 1st Choice Employment, Inc.
you will accumulate 1 hour of paid time off for every
40 hours worked during your work week.
This becomes effective once you have completed 2 consecutive weeks
of employment with one employer. You must complete your
scheduled week to earn your paid time off.
- REFERRAL
BONUS - Employees who refer an individual to 1st Choice Employment, Inc.
are eligible for a referral bonus.
The employee who has made a referral may receive up to $150.
To receive the referral bonus payment, the referred individual
must first complete 40 hours of employment each week for the next
6 weeks. Each qualifying week the referred individual works
the employee will accumulate $25. These monies will be paid
out at the end of the 6 week period hopefully to total $150.
Qualifying 6 weeks - $25 per week for every 40 hours worked
each week.
End of 6 weeks - Up to $150 paid for referral bonus.
- TIMESHEETS
& PAYDAYS - Depending on the company you are working
for timesheets are either faxed by the supervisor or you are
issued an individual timesheet. Individual timesheets are
the responsibility of the employee to turn into 1st Choice Employment, Inc.
If you do not turn in a timesheet you do not
get paid. Timesheets must be turned in on Mondays.
Payday is Friday. You may have your check mailed on Thursday
or you may pick it up at 1st Choice Employment, Inc.
on Friday from 6am
to 6pm. If you do not pick up your check on Friday by 6pm,
your check is automatically mailed. Please be advised we
cannot guarantee timely delivery by the postal office.

- Q: Do I
have to pay a fee for the job search?
A: No. The client company is responsible for all
fees.
- Q: What
if I need to take a day off?
A: You need to call 1st Choice Employment, Inc.
and the
employer to let them know you will not be in.
- Q: If I
get hurt at work who do I notify?
A: You need to tell your supervisor and call 1st Choice Employment, Inc.
- Q: My
hours on my check are wrong?
A: Call payroll at 1st Choice Employment, Inc.
